Why this blog?
To give people who are interested information on what we're doing and on where we are in the building process.
It's also important for us to keep in touch and share information with people who are also into log building.
Finally, this blog is some kind of personal archive which contains our experiences.
What does 'hustimmer' mean?
Hustimmer is the name of a beam which Swedish wood vendors sell for building log houses. It literally means 'house lumber'.
How?
We'll build a log house using the dalaknut notch to connect the logs in the corners.
